Winter temperatures in Finland are typically below zero and it might be windy, especially by the sea. Although our sleds are equipped with warm blankets and hides, we recommend wearing warm winter clothes as for any other winter sport. You can best protect yourself in the traditional way by wearing two or three layers of warm clothes under a windproof jacket and trousers. The best winter boots are long and warm. Remember to wear a warm hat and gloves.
As we take the health and safety of our customers very seriously, we reserve the right to refuse those with inadequate clothing. All our customers are insured for the safari by Loihakka.
